So very true! I'm in the middle of fabbing my own intake but basically from scratch as I didn't have access to a svt lower. Using a tubular aluminum intake manifold from a toyota camry, cutting and welding a flange for a focus tb and crown vic iac, then a custom cnced head flange and injector bosses. Its the long way around but its for a rwd project :) I'll post a few pics tonight.
 
Darn right it is! And if I didn't already buy a 65mm cfm throttle body , I may have tried a different one. The crown Vic IAC only has an outlet in the flange and uses a ~5/8" tube that connects to the intake tract after the maf

I had a cfm 67 when I was gonna use the stock intake and sold it before it ever got used. And I only paid $120 for this accufab 75mm with a mustang iac. I may just have to rewire it, I know I do the tps

Well I left them long intentionally, I'm trying to figure out an optimal length for them. It's easier to take material out then it is to put it back in. The only thing that's final as of now is the location of the runners. Everything else is still being decided. Once the motors in the car I can get a better idea of what I need.
