Does anyone knows more about the upcoming Mazda 3? I saw the concept in NYIAS this year. I really like it. I wonder what engine will it sports. It would be cool if Mazda shoe horn the 170HP Turbo 4 into this car.

It will initially have a 2.3L engine based on the Mazda6. It is very similar to the 2.3L engine to be available in USA for Ford Focus in '04.

I think the 3 will be available in Dec 03.
