I've been selling off my two old vehicles (1984 Volkswgen Rabbit & 2001 Ford Focus ZX3) so I can purchase my first brand new vehicle. It surprisingly took a while to sell both the vehicles but I completed that last Monday and headed out to finish the deal on my new car.

I bought a Chevrolet Sonic sedan LT. It's equipped with the 1.4l turbo engine and six speed manual transmission. So far I have to say I absolutely love it.

These are the only pics I have of it so far.

It's so nice having a brand new car lol. I'm not going crazy with this prolly just intake, exhaust, tune and then cosmetics. The stock suspension is nice and comfy so I'll prolly leave that alone for a long while. I still need to remove the dealer pinstripes and return the car to the dealer so they can repair some scratches on the bumpers.

Lmk what you guys think!

Congrats Mike! the sedan definitely looks better than the hatch

Congrats on the new car man. It looks much better in black vs the red and green ones I see all the time.

Can't say I'm much of a Chevy fan, but congrats on the new car! Its nice to not worry about car problems for a while eh? :)

for the love of god, take that hideous bowtie off the front bumper.

i absolutely hate the location of that.

otherwise....not bad. curious to see what the little 1.4 turbo can do with a tune and some more boost.

congrats! having something new is always nice. everything does what it is suppose to and doesnt make noises or sounds it shouldnt haha

Thanks guys.

Bow tie is going to stay since it doesn't just come off. Here's a picture of a guys car on the forum that has the look I think I'm gonna go after.

Love the sedan.

One of the only vehicles i would say the sedan is the better choice.

Leave it alone and enjoy it!

Yup, already have the tune file just waiting on zzp intake and the cable to flash the car.

from what i hear the cruze tunes werk maybe with some tweaks...

vermont tuning has something for you i belive. Sonic was on my watch list i aint going to lie.

Nice car
Yeah the Cruze can have the same engine.

I opted to go with Trifecta not Vermont Tuning though.

Jake, another friend and I installed all my parts the other day as well. All I can say is wow, this car is more fun than I could've imagined.

Thanks!

Nice car man. The Ecotecs are a damn good engine so enjoy having one. I also thoug a Sonic with a 2.0 Ecotec turbo would be awesome. 240hp Sonic.
Yeah a Sonic with a LNF would be super awesome.
