Well some of you may have heard that I lost my vehicle due to a fire on December 28 2007. I was lookig to replace my Focus with an SVT, but unfortationally I was not able to find anything as nice as my vehicle was or in the price range I was looking at. I ended up replacing my 2002 CD Silver Mach edition Focus with a 2005 Mazda 3 5 door. So far I am pretty happy with it. Although the HID's in the Mazda 3 are not nearly as nice as the HID's that I had in the focus.

I am currently trying to sell all the parts that I had for the Focus. I have ad's posted in the for sale section for most of the stuff. I have not posted an ad for the clutch set up, single SVT fog light I have left, stock suspension, or the rear ford racing multimatic shocks that were never installed. But I do have ads for stock tail lights, TYC CF tail lights, Roush bumper, SVT head unit, brushed aluminum radio surround and painted gauge surround. PM me if your interested in anything.

Now onto the pictures.

wow. I cant even imagine what was going through your head watching your car slowly get destroyed.

I was parked on the street right where an alley comes out onto the main street. There was a electric reclinner on the corner for somebody to pick up or for the dump to pick up. I was awoken at 3 in the morning and heard the popping and crackling of the fire. It appears that the fire was intentionally set by lighting the chair on fire. The palm trees that i was parked right next to were on fire as well. It looks like gas was poured on the chair, trees and the hood of my car. It is rather difficult to set a palm tree on fire, and the fire was so hot it actually began to melt my windshield.

The worst part of it was watching the fire department take a crow bar and smash in my windows and then pry open my hood while i was standing there and had just handed my keys to the police to unlock the doors.

I knew that there was nothing i could do, it was just really bad since 3 days prior my grandmother had passed away on christmas eve.

What a week it was, and then the fire investigator tried pinning the fire on me, and that it was my fault. Some how the SVT bumper, air filter, or new radiator hose somehow started the fire, especially when the vehicle had been parked for almost 48 hours.

Wow, that would truly be a heartbreaker to lose your car like that, I'm soooo sorry bro :( So you took that first shot of it on fire as well? I don't think that I could do that, I'd be too busy panicking that my car was being ruined :(

I think the saddest part was the next afternoon after the fire investigator looked at everything and cleared the car to be released to the insurance company... the tow truck driver had to use a shover to scrape my melted bumper off the street in order to get it on the truck. The truck driver would shovel up a shovel full of melted plastic and parts and then just toss it in through the busted out window into the drivers seat. Just watching the lack of respect for another persons car just sucked.

I wanted to take everything I could off the car too. i really wanted to get the rims and brand new tires off the other 3 corners, and pull the MB quart speakers out of the rear doors, too bad the $500 front seperates were destroyed in the fire, pull the good HID headlight and ballast, rear suspension and whatever else I could get off the car.

For sale...minor smoke damage! (j/k)

Totally sucks, but at least your rollin' again. Hope they catch whomever was responsible.

Nope, it was that he would shovel stuff up and then just toss it through the window. I said something to the guy and he ended up opening the door and made a pile on the drivers floor after that. He said he forgets from time to time that these vehicles are peoples only means of transportation, and that it is a pretty emotional thing to have your only means of transportation taken from you.

Yeah it was great, car was just paid off, had just replaced the radiator, fans, AC system, all the hoses from the radiator, new front bumper had gotten refinished and painted and was ready to be put back on the car, new tires, breaks (pads and roters), fresh oil change, flushed the tranny fluid, and had just gotten the windows tinted. Car was ready to go for another few years. Oh well.

Yeah the Mazda hauls a$$, much more torque than the focus had, more horse power too. I miss my mach stereo system, but this one has a pretty good sound system in it though, just needs a sub. The other thing i miss is the sun roof.

so now it is time to find a body kit for this car, get it lowered, find some rims for it, get the windows tinted. will have to have the exhaust done, and put on a CAI as well. but other than that, I plan on leaving it pretty stock.
