My final post on the FC ORP... seriously

I see so many threads on the ORP, I was almost reluctant to post again.

I've posted about some of my concerns regarding their products, but I just wanted to let everyone know that I've had an excellent experience with Dave from Focus Central. He personally took care of some of the problems I was having, and resolved the issue with a level of service I didn't even expect. Either he or the employees who actually developed the ORP have made some revisions to it as well, some of them likely from the feedback that FocalJet members have voiced.
Regardless, from my experience, they get a
in my book.

So what happened and what did they fix? Is there an updated version of the ORP?

The problem I had was related to one of the wings breaking that holds the pipe to the cross member. I'm going to call Dave on Monday to talk to him a bit more, but the only thing I'm certain is different are the wings; they are reinforced with another bar of metal welded at about a 30 degree angle between the body of the pipe and the wing itself. If I'm able to prove something else I'm suspecting is true, I'll post again.
I have had the ORP on my car, took it back off because too noisey. However I noticed that the bracket that the ORP bolts to is adjustable, and its not that obvious. I noticed the adjustment bolts when I was installing my JRSC. I would bet that some of the broken tabs on the ORP are because the bracket is not loosened and readjusted when the ORP is installed. No mention of this adjustment in the ORP instructions by the way.

Just a thought anyways.
Yea good luck for now but wait till they abandon you...
I understand there have been problems before, but they did help me out 7 months after my purchase. Didn't mean to agitate you, Thameth.. heheh
<font color="blue"> this post has convinced me to get the ORP. i was hesitant at first from all the problems the product has had, but since its revised i've got take advantage and get rid of the cat/heat shield problem. also i think i might be going w/ the fc flywheel too.

You'll love it, not only for the power, but the sound. BTW... if you still have stock exhaust, you may want to consider changing that as well. It can get... a little ricey at certain ranges between 2-3k.
Install is pretty quick and simple too (as long as things haven't gotten to rusted).
