Just picked it up last week for 3 grand. 116k miles. Its absolutley mint. It was a North Carolina car, I was told an old lady drove it, and she was the only owner. I used to have a 93 Cavalier RS with the 2.2 liter 4, this one has the 3.1 V6, its pretty ballsy. Its a frickin sweet car.

Its fully loaded, and everything works perfectly, AC, power windows, power locks, tranny shifts solid. Its immaculate, I am lucky to have found it.

Well there she is! I will NOT be driving it in the winter. Good grief, one winter and I'd kill the poor thing. I love it to death. I'm so glad I found it. I won't be doing much to it, I want to keep it as stock looking as I can. I might get it repainted, same color of course. I may get some nicer speakers, but no subs or anything like that at all. It has a tape deck, so I just might goto GM and have them install a 10 disc cd changer that runs off the factory unit. I can't wait til next summer, it'll be fun crusin down the road in my new Z24. :) :D

i think 3 grand is kind of steep for that car...its your call though...

enjoy it :)

To be honest, finding one this nice under 5 grand is extremely rare. I've been looking for one just like this for quite sometime now. Its hard finding a 2nd gen Z24 thats in this good of shape for so cheap. I guess they are in much higher demand now than they ever have been. Unfortunatley thats what makes them so pricy. The actual value of the car, isn't worth 3grand, you are correct. But its one of those things, if you want it bad enough, you'll pay. Kind of like those fools paying $2000 for a PS3 on eBay. :p ;) :) :D

i get what your saying, i guess i've never seen the demand for those cars before..... i totally understand your concept though

i have a 95' beretta 3100 for my DD and i can never see why these types of cars would possibly be sold for more then they are worth

enjoy it :)

it's clean, thats a fact!

high demand ? lol really to who ? 3 grand is extremly overpriced but IMO. where i'm at here you could have bought a late 90's Honda accord or '00 focus with less miles.

but just to be clear it is flippin insanely clean!

Hehe. Financially I overpaid, I was aware of that on the day of purchase. But personally I was able to justify it. I wanted the car so bad, it came to the point where the money didn't matter. If I didn't pay the 3k, I wouldn't have gotten what I wanted, and that wouldn't have been any fun!! :)

NIce car, I think the bodykit on the Z24s of that era was perhads the single greatest fastory produced kit GM ever put out. It was subtle and flowed well. It is similar to what Ford did to the Contour SVT. Now pull that garbage 3.1 out of there and drop in a turbo Ecotec with a proper gear rowing device.

those engines sound so damn weird, different than any other v6. i had an oldsmobile cutlass supreme with the same engine. you can always tell which cars have a 3.1. has a strange gurgling exhaust note

Man i had a 92 convertible that was lowered and had a few mods like exhaust and rims i loved that thing. one of my favorite cars i have owned.. its a shame i grew to be 6'6" and couldnt fit in it with the top down

grats on the find, a little steep in price but it happens sometimes. have fun with it!

Loved the early 90's GM body kits. My 1st car was a 92 Pontiac grand am gt 2dr 3.3 v6 auto :( wish i got the HO 4cyl w/ 5spd getrag. Loved the lines on it and it was the same teal color as yours. Grab a turboed motor from that special edition pontiac GP :)

nice! reminds me of my mom's dark blue convertible of the same year. ah, good times.

is there something missing on the intake, or is the filter supposed to be that exposed?
