My new roof rack

It's blank...

Where is this so called roof rack?

Very nice. You can hold a lot of luggage with that set up. I've got a Thule rack with a short roof rack adaptor on the way to transport my surfboard and stand up paddle board.

Thanks, I have a family of four and it sure beats driving my 16mpg truck on vacations.

Who makes this roof rack? Do you know if it would fit the wagon?

I made it myself, its was a little costy bacause I got the material from Home depot. I found a shop near me that would have cost about half that. I spent about $100.00

omg why would you do that to a focus, i understand you wanna get better mpg's, but really? that? on a focus? you could just not pack so much, just sayin' sorry for all the hate

I only put it on for vacations...I comes off in about 10 minutes. You can use your focus for whatever you want to. Mine is used for transportation and whatever the hell else I want to do with it.

Not so excited about the side rail design, but the wood base and idea is really cool.

Side note: Some people just don't understand the concept of Functional mods.I like the basket

I think the side rails are too high myself, I was thinking of cutting them down a little if we keep the car. I have had it since new and have over 170K on it. My wife wants something new.

Basket looks good. I wanna get a rack for my Mazda3 since its my daily, but my funds just dont allow something like that at the moment. Kudos for building that yourself.
