My Saleen (Very, very, very pic heavy. You have been warned.)

So I haven't really posted in here since I joined. I have done a lot of stuff to the focus since I bought it, so I thought it would be a good idea to put up a thread showing what it looked like when I got it and what it looks like now. I'll try not to post EVERY picture I have. lol

When I bought it, it was a mess. But I got a great deal on it. I don't have any pics of when I picked it up, but it had pretty bad hail damage. The windshield was busted up pretty bad, dent in the hood where previous owner shut it on the prop, and the Saleen wing was completely destroyed. It also had ugly yellow stuff all over it. Calipers, underhood wiring, strut tower brace. I did all the major maintenance, plugs, brakes, and complete mechanical inspection. Engine had 2 burned valves, so minor engine rebuild was done. All new valves and lifters. Had hail dents removed / repaired.

It's been a long road to where it is now, but it's almost where I want it.

So about a week ago, my rear passenger hub bearing decides to implode. Luckily the hub nut held and I was able to limp home. So my rear svt disc swap was moved up a little on the time table.

The heat burned the paint off of the drum.

Got the rear discs on yesterday. Also installed Steeda STS.

New spindles and new bearings pressed into used hubs.

Emergency brake swap. Was pretty easy once you get the heat shielding out of the way.

Nice Saleen! Really love the rim choice, too. Where did you pick up the black housing headlights from? I've been milling over the idea of doing this to mine.

Lookin good! Definitely one of the nicer saleens Ive seen. I would Highly recommend some wheel spacers to get those very nice wheels out to match the (even farther extended) fender flares though. Keep up the great work!!

Lol I never noticed the wheels being inboard on the Saleen Focus. Of course I the Saleen Focus is hard to look at IMO until I seen yours, I love the wing and hood scoop delete.

An Edge rear wiper and a SVT wing would look nice I think.

Awesome dude. Keep it up! I love how you removed the "obnoxious" features from Saleen and just kept the tasteful ones. Great work!

Where did you get the black housed headlamps and how much did they cost? I'd like to do the same thing to my '05.

When I was getting the stuff I needed to do the swap, I couldn't find any. Even Tousley only had the drivers side. They seem to be the hardest part of the setup to get. At least it was for me. But others I've talked to say it really doesn't hurt anything as long as you keep everything washed off regularly. And I like being able to see everything behind the wheel.
