I have seen, been in, and driven behind and in front of Marc's car. I will be down there this weekend, let me ping him and see if we can meet up. Last I saw the car it was in great shape.

He lives in my area, real close to Jason(deception) as well. we could all meet up and turn this into a meet! LOL!

 

I got a call from Marc today, I will be meeting up with him on Saturday.

I'll let you all know once I find a flight out there.. it'll be quick though, maybe lunch at best.. I gotta fly in the AM and be home in SLC by midnite or the zx3 might turn into a pumpkin!

 

the drive to SLC from portland is doable in one day. I would suggest staying a night though before the drive unless we are talking really early am flight.

I moved a friend from Portland to Denver. Did the first day to SLC. took about 16-18 hours if I recall. we were packing a lot of stuff going 55 most the time though. you could probably make it sooner. the biggest problem right now will be snow going through the pass's

 

yeah the weather is killing me.. it might be worth the few extra bucks to ship the car here...

The test drive didn't happen yesterday. Paul called in the morning and the snow had already started to fall and accumulate pretty fast. Didn't want to risk the car going out and getting into trouble. I did let Dave (shikatoi) know that we didn't meet yesterday. He was cool with it.

We're just getting pounded here with snow and ice! I'm starting to get cabin fever! :lol:

10 inches of snow on the roads that are all rutted out...its brutal! watch out for man hole covers!! those are like potholes right now

 

well the shippers are bastards and still cant pick it up..

now that the weather is good, I'm back to plan A and trying to fly out between now and this weekend. still trying to find some rubber to slap on it before I drive back home, though.. found a few leads on craigslist.. gonna be a fun trip!

All went well, picked Dave up from PDX last night, got tires this morning (thank you Big O!!!), got breakfast, and off Dave went. I'm really glad a fellow jetter got my car - He's a good guy. :thumbup:
