ok, as of right now, i just installed at custom turbo kit, and i just found out i need a e-check by monday, i want to install a cat, but a bolt up one, so when on the track i can take it off. till then my friend and i can't do it by monday, so we're thinking about installing a heat sheild on the down pipe, so when inspected, it looks like i have a cat. does this sound like it'll work?

i heard around here, cleveland ohio, that they hook up somthing to the OBD-2 and then use a mirrer to look for the cat. any info will help thanx

cat has to be as close to the manifold as possible.

I think you'd have better luck just finding a "friendly" shop to do the inspection.
