okay folks. i need help with a paper i'm writing for english 101, it's an argumentaion paper. I chose to write about the newly propsed exhaust regulation in MA, which says that you cant have anything besides your STOCK exhaust. the points i have so far are
1)mod. exhaust increases fuel economy.
2)stays within emmisions.
3)some cars come stock with loud exhast(ex.srt-4)
4)motorcycles are much louder than cars even w/ modified exhaust.

if you guys can add anything i would really appriciate it. thanks in advance.

5) Repair cost:

If you cannot have anything besides your STOCK exhaust, then wouldn't that make it very costly to replace or repair your exhaust when it actually needs it. I cannot imagine the cost of going to Ford for my exhaust work. And if they said "Stock equivalent", then what does that mean. Would Midas have to certify their exhaust systems to be compliant with Ford for the Focus, Mustang, F150, etc...

bring up MA's tendency to rip away your rights. talk about what it means to be an american, and how we should be able to do things that do not infringe on other's rights.

use that to augment the loud trucks with jake brakes, motorcycles and cars that are loud stock. it makes no sense that some be given freedoms that others are denied.
