Looks really good I like how it looks! A lil off subject but what spoiler is that on the back of your focus. It looks really good on there and do you have any other shots of the car?

I think it looks great. I'm not too fond of the wavyness either, but it's better than no carbon fiber lol

BTW, with that grille the car looks like a late-model Nissan Altima. Maybe it's just me, but i've seen many Altimas around here with grilles like that.

wow, i JUST noticed this thread? lol. car looks great... the weave is because of the extreme vent angles.. you can have it perfect... that is HAND LAID and a very good lay for the extreme angles. its like trying to lay fabric on that angled hood without having any wrinkles :)

Cna I use those pics for the site? they look great!

^ yeah, its HAND LAID, which means there is EYE BALLS watching behind those hands and should be paying attention better to quality. Im sorry, but the waves in the fabric is a strong sign of poor quality. Steep angles and edges has nothing to do with poor quality. There are many other manufactures that deal with those edges just fine, and look flawless.

It has nothing to do with the angles of the hood, the processes they use now (Vacuum molds) pretty much eliminate that having an effect. The waves are in the actual weave of the fabric itself, which has little to do with structural integrity or lack of quality, its just a cosmetic flaw that happens. A manufacturer isn't going to throw away a 100 foot roll of carbon fiber fabric because the weave was pulled too tight in one direction. If the fabric was going to be used for something aeronautical for example , then yeah it would probably be an issue.

Anyway, its been like 2 years, is it wearing well? Any gel coat issues?
