By the way, who is running a 15" rim combo on a svt focus? Im looking for something like 15x7 for the front and 15x3.5 rear so I can put a skinnie on the back and slick in the front. I was thinking lenso wheels might make something but if anyone has a lead I would apreciate it

 

Here's a 15x7" drag setup for the front off of an SVT for sale. You might want to contact him to make it easy on you.

For the rear, that's tougher. There was a guy with some Rota Grids custom narrowed in the rear to 16x4.5, but that's the closest I've seen.

 

I thought I heard of someone finding one or two 15's that fit over the SVT calipers, but I forget which ones. With the SVT brakes, it's pretty much 16" and up. Nice rides!

 

You may want to see about a clutch upgrade before you go drag racing the SVT with slicks up front.

It's a great little car but the clutch doesn't like drag launches, it's a great autocross, road course and backroad burner though.

 

Im in the process of picking up some 15 inch Team Dynamics ProRace 1.2 for the fronts. But for the skinnies in the rear I have no idea.

BTW, Nice looking rides! I ran a 2010 Mustang with a supercharger this passed weekend, and he was only running 13's in the 1/4 (but it was hot and humid that day). Good luck with the focus! I have a feeling I'll be keeping an eye on this thread.

I ran into 15" wheel fitmment for my old 07 si... dam I really want skinnies on the back too. Im going to put a spec clutch and flywheel in it. I will make a build thread once I get going

I know the saying to each his own and all, but why are you trying to turn a car specifically setup for great driving and cornering ability into a straight-line drag car?

The SVT is so good at corners. Why not leave it that way and try that type of racing with it? You already have a car capable of good straight line acceleration anyway.
Going fast in one direction isn't all there is to racing.

 

I don't like turning? Why not have two quick cars lol?

I havnt driven the stang in over 3 weeks I think ive seen your car before too! I don't go to the timmies at kc I go to the chapter parking lot with all my Jdm buddys lol You will be seeing my focus some time soon
