Who says there's no more buried treasure!

There is a guy in my area with a similar set up. I've been show the photos by a friend with the understanding that they can't be shown or posted for privacy reasons but the list of exotic European cars just goes on and on.

The gentleman is a eccentric old car nut and he has only let my friend in, also an eccentric old car nut and racer who once raced against the likes of Mr. Shelby.

His relatives will someday be very wealthy!

oh my. that was awesome!

A couple of years ago, someone bought some tractor trailers that the doors were welded shut, then backed up to each other, and the tires flattened. Inside were all super rare chevy musclecars, and engines, and parts galore.

I think Discovery Channel will have that listed in its "Top 10 most awesomest collections" countdown next month. If not, they should.

Yes I think so as wel. I would renovate the barn first and live in it.

man oh man!!! that would blow my mind! i dont know where i would start

OK, there's at least one Porsche 356, Lotus Super7, and a Lotus Elan in there :eek: I don't even know what I'd do if I had those cars, let alone everything else in there :hump::hump:

I'd definately start with the Minis.

Then maybe the Super7.
That would be hard to decide between the Porsche or the Lotus for me.

How could a collector let his cars get like that? It would cost millions to get them all back to good condition! All that paint work!?! That alone would be over a million dollars.

That seven is probably nearly priceless... i've never even seen an original 7 before...only replicas.

Thats a multi million dollar collection for sure.

Did the person that bought the farm KNOW about this "barn" before they bought the farm?????

Old age could have brought with it senility. After awhile that prized collection becomes less and less important as your mind goes away. I've seen it happen before, not with cars but with property. One of my grandpa's best friends had probably the nicest acreage I've ever seen, but in his last 10 years he lost it and started making some interesting changes, he didn't even realise he was destroying his preoperty.

Id start with the Porsche 356. Why waste time on an old mini when you can restore and cruise around a really desirable classic Porsche.

the Lotus Seven is definitely where I would start.

Those other cars pale in comparison.
