hi everyone, this is my first post although i have been browsing the jet daily for the last 2 or 3 years. here are some pictures of my brand new "screaming yellow" SVT with HID's, new SVT gunmetal 17's, "european package", block heater and all kinds of other silly stuff. there are also a few pictures of my 01' ZX3 beater with rims, drop, intake, exaust, UDP, cam gears, shifter, all the usuals. I think my new SVT is one the best looking factory cars i have ever seen ( minus the new EVO ) and it drives better than a wet dream

. The pictures are rather large due to the fact that i'm lazy as hell, but oh well. i have yet to see another "screaming yellow" SVT, or even an SVT with HID's and the gunmetal rims. the new yellow is sooooo much nicer than my 01 egg yolk.

sorry for the weak pictures, just wanted to give ya's an idea, let me know if you would like to see more.

ok kids, sorry about that. i knew yahoo was ghey but not that ghey. i just up'd some pics to my old webserver and am in the process of downsizing some more.
has anyone else seen a focus of this color yet? this is the first one i have seen anywhere. i think its pretty unique ( as of now, god knows every other car i see next year will be one, just like my zx3 ) the sticker was 22,500 but i ended up getting it for about three grand cheaper. gotta love the B-plan

I think i will probably end up leaving it completely stock due to the fact that my zx3 is worth about a quarter of what i paid for it. does anyone know if the build number is printed somewhere on it like the cobra's and other SVT's are?
Thx for the input so far, and yeah the 17's do look pretty tiny in the picture but damn they look so good rolling

laugh, i'm with you there dude, i cannot stand these stupid ass honeycomb looking grills. I'd like to get them all paint matched but i'm not too sure how long it would hold up on the bottom lip being that its rubber. has anyone done this yet? long term results?
I'm not 100% sure about the warranty nor do i worry about it too much, my brother is the service manager @ my dealership

thx everyone for the nice comments and keep them coming, i'd like to hear some negative feedback too

Great ride, man! Those wheels are almost worth the price of admission alone!

I've been trying to find out forever, but do your seats have yellow inserts like the red and blue inserts in the current "regular" SVT's?

thx for all the comments guys
Image
the seats do not have the yellow inserts although that would be sick! they are all flat black leather (maybe pleather) recaro's. they are oh so nice. I broke the engine breakin rules a little bit tonight to see what she could do. 73mph in second gear and a 130mph before i backed off
Image
( this was all done on a closed course with a professional driver of course
Image
) arent these things supposed to have some sort of limiter? my zx3 feels like it hit a wall @ 110
Image
i didnt plan on modifying it, but we all know how that goes, off to the SVT forum to see what i can do with this baby. peace.

Thanks for the info, man. I'm kinda dissapointed to hear the seats don't have inserts, but hey, if they're Recaro's i won't bitch!

As far as speed limiters, the ZX3 tops out at 109 (i believe), and as far as i know there isn't one on the SVT's

My friend and I had his '00 up to 114 before fuel cutoff, it may vary from car to car.
