I go back and forth between stock 17s and 16s for autocross....never any problems.

 

Just take it into ford, I guarantee you it has nothing to do with your tires

yeah, just put my snows back on (I know, I know) and I don't get CELs.

 

I just changed my wiper blades and now I TOO HAVE A CEL!!!!!!!!!!!

 

if I recline too far in my seat my CEL comes one.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">There is a posibility that one of the tires is low -- the ABS system could be telling the computer that one tire is spining faster than the others, and thus throwing a code. Not likley - but it could happen.

Post in the reginal forum, and see if anyone in your area has a OBD-II scanner than you could use to pull the CEL code.

 

I farted really loud and then a CEL came on! Maybe something rattled loose?
