New VW Golf to be replaced by ’08?

According to Autoweek.com's article, the new VW Golf, which just recently debuted in GTI form may be replaced as early as 2008 — a two-year lifecycle!

in Europe the MkV golf has been out since 2003...

This is a blog os a european dude that reads European magazines.. he had some good info on the upcoming MkVI ...

the shrt take
1) uncertainty of variations and design directions.
2) largely a major redesign of the current platform.... it will not be completely ground up new model
3) UPCOMING GOLF 2 DOOR COUPE - CORRADO

4) new diesel engine...

There is also some interesting info on the upcoming Mondeo... it will not be iosis after all.
