sorry yo. I'm currently the only mod in this forum, and I'm an ATX guy. I know very little about the MTX-75 and NOTHING about the IB5.

if yall have a guy in the SPI forum that's good with these things, let me know. mayeb we can work something,

but as it stands i've never even sat in an SPI focus let alone driven one.

 

....what info do you need.We do IB5's and have some stock of them...how can I help?

 

I think they just want general strengthening information...a lot of them are breaking parts of their trannies, some considering mtx-75 swaps.

Specifically 3 or 4 of them have turbo projects in the works and pretty much know their trannies are gonna crap out.

If you could tell them the weakspots and what you/they can do to handle them to be liveable under FI, I think they' doffer you sexual favors.

yeah any info on things like if the diff is as glass as the MTX 75 or things like you had mentioned before on the 75 like plastic gutters and 3 piece blockers, yada yada. that would all be nice to know.

 

I once saw a Puma rally car which had a 6 speed in a production IB5 case... Probably not within my means, but how'd they do it?

 

probably from Quaife or XTrac or Hewland, there are a few companies out there that specialize in building one-off transmissions.
