they can get any car i order. I was told SVT isn't offering the 3 door in sonic blue

 

Call SVT and ask them yourself

 

About 2 months ago at the new car show here in Denver there was a 2003 3 door Sonic Blue SVT.

Somebody's lying to you...

they stopped making that color in the 3 door. About a month or more ago there was a post about it. They were making a select number this yr and that was it. I thought it applied to the 5 door as well, but maybe not. So the factory probably did stop making them and that is why your dealer can't order it. However, if you really want that color they should be able to contact another dealer who has one and get it. So it isn't a total lie. good luck and I wouldn't settle for something you may not like later on.

Sonic Blue is NOT available on ANY '03 SVTF for the rest of the model year (it was only avail. during the first few weeks of production).

 

Tipps is right. Apparently they are phasing out the Sonic Blue.

 

Have the dealer do a search for a 2003 SVT Focus in Sonic Blue at other dealers, they may be able to do a dealer trade for the car for you and still get your business. The posts above are correct, Sonic Blue was only available for the first few weeks of production this year, it is no longer available. According to the SVT guys it also costs more to paint than the other colors, something to do with the painting process. Good luck on your search.

I tried to order silver or sonic blue but neither was available to order anymore. The blue interior is not available to order anymore either. I wound up ordering black with red inserts. I think red with red inserts is still available to order too. If you want silver or blue check to see if any dealers have one in stock otherwise wait until next year. Good luck!!

I ended up ordering the CD Silver with Red inserts. It was my second choice anyway, so im not completely dissatisfied.

I work for a ford Dealership. Ford has decided not to continue with The Sonic Blue SVT FOCUS for the ZX3 model. I on the other hand ordered mine in 2002 and I got a 2003 Ford SVT Focus ZX3 Model with HID lamps in Sonic Blue. But I ordered it a year ago.
