Just went to a place in Manhattan Beach that's kind of a landmark: http://www.sloopysbeachcafe.com/

I haven't eaten there since I was 21, had lunch there with my Dad IIRC... before that I hadn't eaten there since I was 10.

It's still awesome. zomg sooooooo good. Beautiful day, walked down to The Strand and down to the pier with Paula & Magnus... I'm blessed to have such a great family.

Hugs to you all

Ok now to get some work done  reason for my visit, but family is important too.

Weather forecast for Willows changed from 78 to 72! It may actually be pleasant enough out there to do the last track session of the afternoon!

Woot, my first thread title.

So kind of an embarrassing story.... I made it all the way up to Fresno, but my wallet decided to not make the trip with me

Morning NorCal!

So, I was a bit under the weather yesterday, but I'm feeling much better today:thumbup:

I'm feeling a bit nervous about the track day. Not really nervous that I won't stay on the track, or that the car is going to break (I'm pretty confident that the car can take the beating... afterall, it's survived a full weekend of Lorin driving the pee pee out of her:lol:) I think I'm nervouse that I am going to forget something of importance at home.

I guess as long as I have my wallet, my helmet and my tech form filled out, I'm ok:dunno:

Not sure... Parking is kind of a problem at your place and I wouldn't get there until really late.

I guess I could just block the whole driveway.... not like you're going anywhere without me.

I can't even start to get the car ready for the track day until Friday after work.... Pretty much just brakes though.

When you visit... you get the garage buddy:thumbup:

Getting here late isn't an issue at all.

So yeah... again, just let me know. Either way is cool with me/us.

Mornin' me fellow Focists...

PWEAZE! Pweaze pwease... SOMEBODY take some pics while at Thunderhill... :( It's just a tad too far for me to make it for the day, unlike Willow or Buttonwillow...

I like the new thread title! and am really looking forward to seeing the Focus in wagon form at a dealership.

We're trailering Jen's car.... It has been non-opped and is no longer street legal.

On another note, I did get some datalogging done last night for me car. My "safe" tune was less safe than the one I had before, but I figured out why just before bed. I guess the Open Loop Blend Ramp is not cool with a value of "zero", because it tries to hold closed loop A/F at WOT....

I have no previous reference point, but it seems that the fueling requirements have increased around 13% at 5kRPM over what a stock PWSC would have, so optimistically I'm flowing 13% more air and making 13% more power... though it isn't necessarily that simple.

I tell you what.... I wish I was Randy!

Dude.... you have two more whole week nights to dial it in:thumbup:

I'm still holding out hope for Darth being on that trailer when you pull up.

Morning Norcal. :)

While driving behind one on the way to work and listening to the sound and checking out the body, I decided if I were in the market for a new car, an SRT Caliber would be something I would check out. In a nice color, a good drop and some nice wheels, I can overlook the fact that its a Dodge. :p
I know right!?! The SRT Group are friggin' magicians. I mean, if they can make a second gen Neon look even slightly mean... right?

Fed the cat late last night, and you would figure she wouldn't need to be fed as early this morning. Nope, she started doing her "I know if I chew on these wires or walk all over this noisy stuff on the dresser you'll get up and feed me" routine starting at 0215. Needless to say I'm exhausted.

They do... but it's kinda permanent.

Speaking of wheels, I need to get tires, and Fuzion HRis in 225/60/16 are so cheap, I might just put the steelies back on the Vic.

Hai ebreebodeeee!!

If I ran across one, it would have to be white or red....a good red. Like nail polish red. Nothing makes you feel like a woman quite like red nail polish.

I need to mail a manicure appointment.

Hi Gang  Love the new title. This is certainly the place for Vikings.

So, the Family CFO gave me the go-ahead to pry some money out of my ever present wallet to buy some Focus goodies in lieu of a new car. I'm in need of new tires so I figure its time for some 17" wheels while I am at it. I've been eyeballing either the 2004 SVT 6-spokes or SVT EAP wheels. Any thoughts from you guys/gals for a LG ZX3?

'04 6-spokes have always been my favorite SVT wheel.

I can scrounge up some for you. Does cosmetics matter? Within reason of course.
