I have never consumed enough alcohol to cause to lose control of my bodily functions. I know someone who did once though. He would wet his bed at least once a month.

I have consumed a lot of alcohol at times though.

Ohai NorCal. New iMac coming soon! Then my hawt IT guy gets to set it up for me

Decided on an iMac w/ it's faster processor, I can dual monitor, and they're upgrading it to 6GB RAM for free.

That's so naughty!

Aww. He took his ball and went home. I guess I insulted him after he insulted me. Seems to me he's one of 'those' Americans who give Americans a bad rep at certain times. It's unfortunate that those guys are always the one's who are the loudest and draw the most attention.

I guess I succeeded in what I was tyring to do....

I think that would be an awesome sticky btw.

For every dude who think their **** is tight....this is your anthem.

I don't know that I'd call him anything more than a whiney little "Hey! Look at me!" bitch.

He thinks he's better, smarter, faster, whatever, than anybody else, and as soon as someone calls him on his bull****... it's poor meeeeeeeeeeeeee :(

It would be the bestestest sticky evAr!!111!1

We could nominate him and W3K for ban of the month.

The Off Topic Survivor 2?

I would start that thread... I might get banned though, I haven't been around as long as some...

No one should really start those threads other than Admins since they have the power to ban people. The last one was Erik's doing and I will leave it up to him again. I avoid their threads because I just don't care about anything they have to say. It takes too much energy to type out responses to their garbage....easier just to be indifferent. ;)

I love our credit union.

Hi Mr. Albrecht, what can we do for you?

I'd like some money to buy a computer.

No problem. Let me just look at your file here. Wow you've been a member here for quite some time.

Yep. You guys rock and it's easier to deal with the credit union versus a bank.

Ok here's your check. Have a nice day.

If only everything in life was so easy.

Why do so many Wedding vendors have to be dishonest or unscrupulous?

Had a guy doing some draping for the reception, called about a deposit, got all pissy talking about late fees etc. I said:
1. I ALREADY paid you a deposit, you aren't BUYING anything for this even you are providing a SERVICE.
2. You are the lax, chill, "oh yeah just pencil it in on the contract." guy before.
3. If I pay you the full amount in advance, what guarantee do I have that you'll even show up the day of?

He told me to **** off, said he'd send my money back.

Oh well, I've got two other companies that would like to do business with me. Two other companies that appear a lot more organized, honest, and up front than this guy.

Now let me tell you about the dress shop...
It's a two store, kinda local chain, deal. Julia ordered all of the dresses from their store out in Antioch back in October. Store in Antioch "moves" and then doesn't re-open.
March comes (when the dresses are supposed to be delivered), nothing. Call the store in Burlingame, "oh they had delays, they'll be in by April." We call...excuses...we call...excuses...etc. Needless to say, bridesmaids dresses showed up LAST WEEK, and the bride's dress is nowhere to be found..."it's on its way..."

I am soo fed up with this wedding stuff. I feel like I need a posse to go talk with every person we have to deal with.

Save me guys!

Why are you calling looking for her wedding dress? Seriously, that is why if you're having a large enough wedding, you hire a planner to handle those things for you. Generally there is a vendor list of who they work with already done and they get the performance out of them in hopes of repeat business. If the wedding is not that large, then there isn't much reason why this stuff wasn't handled like ages ago and when I got married, the hotel/flower shop worked together on the decor.

I had everything sewn up for the most part, but I hated my dress so I bought another one a couple weeks before. My mom bought a new dress a couple weeks before too because she made the fatal mistake of going and getting a dress without me there, and they talked her into some awful, blue strapless number that looked hideous on the rack so wtf makes them think I would let my mother wear it is beyond me.

I did the seating arrangement (it was round table ****tail style) on the hood of my car the morning of my wedding with my mom in the parking lot of the salon I got my hair done at.
