Related... why is everyone so up in arms that the Fiat 500 gets 35 mpg when they flog the thing?:lol:

The drive he is describing is an "enthusiastic" drive... If I drove that and got 35 mpg... I'd poop a brick:lol:

The Fiat has one significant problem for freeway cruising economy.... The Cd isn't that great compared to the other cars on that list.

I asked the same question once. I don't recall him being like this when I first got here, but I was told that was incorrect, and that he's been a bit of a nut for a long time now. Either way...There's a point when stupid is frustrating...he's past that point. Then there's a point where stupid is funny...he's past that point too. Lately he's been so stupid it's scary. I should post some of the PMs I've gotten from him over the years.

I realize that... but the fact that the freeway EPA rating is 38mpg and the in-town EPA rating is 30mpg, why is everyone so up in arms when he posts 34.6 mixed use?

And for me, a two lane twisty road, even if not flogged, is an enthusiast kind of road... even traveled at the speed limit.

I don't know. Maybe that little 1.4 (101hp/98tq) is too small to be pulling around a 2363+ pound car?

I'm not one to slow, excessively, to gawk at an accident while on the road (beyond what is prudent for scene-workers' safety); it's inconsiderate to traffic behind.

So I use Howard to gawk at. He's become incredible, really.
