The driver fell asleep and hit my 240sx and used it as a ramp and flipped on its side, doing a lil bit of property damage and also hitting the van. If it not had been for the car being very low, it cushioned his impact and prevented more serious damage. It turns out the kid was driving his dad's car and he is excluded from the insurance so the father is going to be paying off everything under his own pocket. My car totaled, their car totaled, body damage on the van, and property damage. The kid was sent out with a stretcher and off to hospital and is still going to get MRI w/ no health insurance.

Wow! Talk about sucakge! But at least you weren't in the car when it happened.

Sucks for the kid too! And his family! Holy cow, talk about bad luck. Not on ANY of the insurance, and he does this.

Hmm, wonder if he was dreaming about a tall glass of Milk, and some Oreo cookies...dipping them in the glass of milk and eating them....then (in his dream) he is going towards (what looks to be) a BIG glass of Milk, and 4 Oreo cookies, and then BAM! Nap time just became seriously over!

On a more serious note, I hope the kid is physically OK. And obviously, :( sucks about the car. (have any before pics of the 240? if so can you post one or two please?)

When my ZX3 got hit, the driver was a kid driving his parents car, excluded from their policy. (mine was a street racing punk, while yours was more innocent)

However, the results are the same. Two totalled vehicles, etc. What happened was obviously we tried the parents insurance first, no dice. Then my insurance paid me for everything (total loss for the car pretty quickly, medical after a few weeks). Then my insurance company took the driver (not the parents) to court. I'll get my deductable back when he's done paying that off. 4 years later, I still dont have my deductable.
