i thought i saw on here someone who did the seat delete and covered the whole hatch and where the seat used to be in diamond plate. looked cool

Ok, I haven't seen anyone do this before and I want to try it out. I'm going to eventually put a rear seat delete kit in but I also want to replace my dingy OEM floor carpet with a diamond plate cover. Picture this, a ZX3 with full diamond plate flooring and the rear seat delete kit covered in it as well. I think it would definately set it off from the interior aspect. Anyone know of a company that can do this or would refer me to someone?

That would be very heavy. I don't think it would be worth it.
...Use aluminum diamond plate...The weight gain would be less...And with the rear-seat delete...It would all balance out...That would be very heavy. I don't think it would be worth it.
Hell, you could get someone to make you composite diamond plate (for low traffic areas, of course), which you could then get chromed...It would be rediculously light, yet still give you the look you want...
