The skirt itself comes painted, but it also lists an end cap, that is primed and not painted. Having not seen an SVT in person yet, I'm not sure what they are talking about and if you need the "end cap". As far as the brakes go I haven't looked into the rear brake lines and shields. One thing I'm concerned about is they don't list a specific SVT booster or master cylinder, but it does say with or without ABS. Of course, the SVT has it, but does yours??? I'm not sure if it would work if you didn't?? Ducman could help us with this.

There are unique shields and hoses on the rear brake lines. Some of you might have this hose set up if you have an early focus. You can always come up withyour own routing with better lines. Bolts on the rear caliper are the same as IVD, so is the spindle. The parking brake lines are unique for SVT as well.

If you have specific questions about a brake kit, shoot me an e-mail.

Seriously, I don't know if the ABS would be an issue. Without there being a different booster, I think compatability might be ok. There are numnerous people around here that know far more about compatability issues than I do, Duc is just one I know of. It was more of a compliment, than trying to dodge the issue. It's not my area of expertise... I supply parts.. People who are technically proficiant install them... Sorry.. As for the e-brake boot, the basic # is 2A713, but there is no listing for the SVT leather boot or handle... Yet... :(

2M5Z-2A713-AAA is replaced by 2M5Z-2A713-AAB, but it doesn't specify SVT or leather??? It does say it's for body type (61) or a 2 door hatch. My 2002 ZX3 doesn't have the leather boot though, I'm still waiting for the SVT listing, but you could be right!!

In other news, I replaced the stock ZX3 suspension with the SVT pieces and noticed a slight drop in ride height (based on before and after measurements) and superior handling, even with the stock Firehawk tires (garbage). Also got the SVT grille unit and it does come complete..

Any update on this? I just skimmed through all 4 pages and didn't see anything more up to date. Thanks!

As far as the silver AC bezels go, they aren't in the computer yet... The skirt have good part numbers, but aren't available yet.. I'll check into the aux guage bezel.. Actually I never thought about the fact that there might be more to it than the guage, after all something has to hold the guage.. That's why I'm a parts guy and not a tech???!! As far as the exhaust goes, I haven't found a part number for the CATBACK including the tailpipe.. It will be an SVT specific item because of the tip and muffler are definately different..

Higher up in the alphabet are the Ps: P_Laz and P-51 should have more experience with the Focus brake system and compatability. One thing I know for sure is that the bias needs to be altered when converting to disc (available with AdvanceTrac) from the rear drums or they won't provide much braking force.

I haven't looked at a SVT Focus, but its really obvious if you go outside and look at your ZX3. There is the plastic skirt, but at the end by the rear wheel well you can see a "cap". Pulling straight back after removing the screws will pull the cap off. The skirt will likely work w/o it, but look kinda funky (and if assembled the same way have 3 holes for where the cap slides in).

I noticed there isn't much AAB stuff. :(

Right I was wrong, the are "fold-away"... The current style ZX3 mirrors are "breakaway", as in we replace about 1 a week here in the shop. As far as the heated mirrors. I can't find a difference in the mirror wiring harness (14630) for the SVT yet....

From the top.. the part numbers are not available for the pedal covers, or the rear shocks. The covers for the side view mirrors are removeable and come PRIMED, they are not available painted... The bezel for the aux. guage "appears" to be the same as the stock one. We should be getting our parts computer update in the next few weeks. As far as the rims go, get them from Ford Racing, if you can. They aren't available yet, but they are going to sell for $150.00 each and included the center caps.. The Ford ones will be for body shops and warranty replacements with those prices...

Originally I thought that the front bumper cover for the SVT was going to come with the lower grille, now I'm not so sure. Rough prices are as follows:
Front bumper cover: $360.00
Lower grille assy: $ 40.00
Fog lamp/bracket: $ 70.00 each

So $540.00 and it would be unpainted...

The part numbers for the lower grille are as follows:

YS4Z-17B814-AA With fog lamps
YS4Z-17B814-BA Without fog lamps
2M5Z-17B814-AA SVT

I'm almost 100% sure that the SVT will not fit on a regular Focus, unless you change the entire nose cover, which by the way comes with the lower grille...

fordmazdaboy,
Do you show a part number for the cylinder head (bare)? A COSWORTH engineer told me its alot different than any other zetec head. Also you listed the cams, can you check to see if they are used on anything else or exclusive to svt? Can you find numbers for the MIATA?
BTW thankyou,I realy can use this thread.

O.K. I apologize for not getting back to people sooner, but our Master $ tape, where we get all the prices without going on-line with Ford is seriously screwed up...

I'm not sure about the size of the sub-enclosure, and I can't find a part number for it yet... The part number for the cylinder head says w/o valves only, so I am assuming it comes with cams?? The cams are SVT only, all other Ford products, ZX3, ZX2 etc. use other cams.. I can't find Mazda part numbers out without calling a dealer, but I do have a good contact at out local Mazda dealer, so if you need something I might be able to find it out... The HVAC bezel for the SVT(black) appears to be the same one used on all Focus with that color bezel, i.e. ZTS, etc. I saw one in the shop today, if you need the part number, I can get it, but it's not an SVT exclusive part..

As for if SVT parts will work on ZX3, and other Focus'... I'd have to say that 90% will, especially trim and accent pieces.. By the way, the SVT suspension rocks..... That conversion has already been done successfully...

OOPS.. I did forget about the seat cover issue.. Sorry.. I just checked on it.. There are no #'s in the system yet for the covers/cushions for the SVT... Also, the $ for the rear bumper cover is not in there either... There is one issue however, I was told, I won't say by who, but... That SVT parts can only be sold/ordered by SVT dealers.. I don't think this is true, however.. So you should be able to take the part to any Ford dealer, and order it.. In theory anyway... Let me know if there are any problems, I would like to know the answer to this question...

I don't think that's true at all because normal Ford dealers can still service SVT vehicles, you just won't receive the SVT Premium services that come with ownership. Most of the Ford dealers around me are SVT authorized, so I can't even think of one to go to so I could find out. :D

SVT ZX3 - You can certainly say what dealer you work for, you can even keep a link to the site if you have one in your signature. I'm sure there are quite a few Jetters in your area that would ba happy to know who they are dealing with when they need to order some parts.

BTW - to all those with repeat requests, give it a bit more time. I think fordmazdaboy said that they are going to receive a parts list update soon, so I'm sure when he gets that he will be back to fill in the blanks.

Well, sadly we still haven't recieved an update yet... But I can answer some questions... I'd say the 2M5Z-6049-AA SVT head, does not come with any of the valve train or the cams... Sorry, and by the way, retail is - $1096.58.. Ouch.. The part number for the HVAC bezel, black is:
1S4Z-5404644-CAA, retail - $59.83
There is still no numbers for the headlights or the pedals... More to come...

By the way, I just updated some part numbers and prices... On the above list...

I just ordered the front bumber (2M5Z 17D957 AAA) and lower grill (2M5Z 17B814 AA) from a local dealer. Will this include the foglights? If not do you have part #'s?
Thanks
Matt

Matt, yes the 2M5Z-17D957 should contain the fogs. If not, let me know and I could possibly get the number for you ;)
2M5Z 17D957 AAA does not include the foglights. For that you will need two 2M5Z 15200 AA. Also required are 2M5Z 17626 AAA which is for the lower chin spoiler and 2M5Z 17B814AA which is the lower grill insert.

Apparently there are brackets required to mount the foglights in the bumper. Any word on these? I've got the parts for the bumper lying around my garage and I'm dying to get them painted and installed.

The numbers that you listed for the fog lights are correct and include the brackets and bulbs. No news on the headlights and the rear hatch wing. I found the number for the A/C silver surrounds and will post it along with the number for the SVT snorkel...
I also have the number for the SVT cat-back exhaust but the part is unavailable and there is no pricing.

On a seperate, but related note... For those planning on using the high-flow SVT headers and CAT/flex-pipe... There is a problem, but it can be over-come... The Header is beautiful (I have one in the garage), but the SVT uses and EGR-less system (unlike the stock Zetec), so you have to plum your EGR tube into the header some where to get it to read correctly. We are working on this problem, and as soon as we get it modified and working properly, I will post the information. Just for info though...

Just so you know, these part numbers are for stock ZX3 side skirts. The SVT side skirts already come with painted end caps.

2M5Z.6110176.BA SKIRT CAPS (PRIME) RIGHT $12.45
2M5Z.6110177.BA SKIRT CAPS (PRIME) LEFT $23.33
:)

Zed... that's good to know about the side skirts. I will order them today if they include the painted end caps. Did the stock hardware to attach them work??

yes it does. There is an 8mm bolt at the front and the rest are T-25 torx I think. It is about a 20-25 minute install.

What wattage are the bulbs for the foglights?

I was reading that the new Marauder had 55 watt foglights...same wattage that the Eurospec Focus uses for fogs...they use H1s in the Focus....wondered if the bulb changed at all with the SVT?
