Oh wow!!! If any of you dont subscribe to MM & FF mag, go get yourself a copy, the god of all things forced induction Richard Holdner has done a build up with the help of Sean Hyland and Innovative to produce the ULTIMATE Zetec powerplant, to the tune of
514 hp and almost 500 ft lbs of torque. WOW
HOLY F/I Batman!!!! I want it, I want it, I want it!!!! Hell, right now, I would even settle for his last streetable combo of 365 hp...

didn't holdner write the focus tuning book?
this is a kit for sale? or just a project to see if it could be done?

Jon
If this kit was for sale, It would be easily more than 10k.
The new Focus Fanatic is out already??

What's MM & FF?
Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords...
anyone with a blue oval on their car who doesn't know waht mm&ff is should be shot. Just kidding. I like 5.0 better anyway. But both are fun mags whether you're a mustang boy or not.
Engine dyno or dynojet?

If it was bhp tom is just about there now with his 440whp focus.

Wow that magazine actually has other Fast Fords in it besides the regular Mustang/F-150 combo, I'm suprised.

I look breeze through that magazine at least once a week at the grocery store and never seen anything about a Foucs. I guess times HAVE changed.

both mm&ff and 5.0 have project foci.

One has already done a built ATX in preparation for their precision turbo kit and one is already running nitrous and full suspension upgrade. The nitrous car has been in the 14
s i believe.

MM&FF has a ZX5, with only a tb, suspension and the spray it ran a 14.8something. They are getting the automatic rebuilt at PA and should have #'s very soon. As far as Richard Holdner, I have met the man, and just to listen to him talk is a blessing to a motorhead. He has forgotten more info on forced induction than most of us will EVER learn. He has taken his zx3 through 6 different combos so far, the last being a 365hp to the tires monster. Now this combo is going in Focus Centrals car (the 514 hp motor) to see if they can crack the 10's and even 9's, which is very possible considering hp to weight.
At a 2100 race weight, 500 wheel horsepower should equate to a 9.39 @ 145 mph, being a perfect run of course.

mm&ff have already done the rebuild. no dyno or decent track time yet, although they gave a seat of pants commentary. Their new issue comes out tommorrow, so we'll see if htat brings new improvements

well...how easy can it be street driven? It can't of course...but that doesn't really matter...but that hopefull 9 sec 1/4 is going to be with traction bars and drag suspension to get the power to the ground no?

Plus, if it where to ever be a kit...it would be 10k plus

LOL....and my reply to that is SO? Its still a 514 hp zetec.
Plus, I know of several cars that arent "street legal" and still street driven. Special service vehicle plates are expensive here in GA, but there are several guys people that pay the price to drive their modified toys daily.
