Wow, never thought I'd say this, but that Hyundai looks damn good! I'm inspired to go through with this now... Hmm...

Yeah, the spoiler is a bit tacky. I just went to a local mod shop and set up an appointment to get a custom paint job along with a new set of clear coat over the carbon fiber. In about a week it'll all be done... excellent...

 

Any idea how much that might cost if I took it to a pro?

 

Shouldn't cost more than painting a normal hood. Just make sure that the stripes you leave blocked off for the painting be removed before the clear coat (and ask how many clear-coats they use). Seems obvious, but some shops... sigh...

 

coolness... i'll post some pics if i end up doing it. If anyone has some ideas for a design i'd love to hear em!

One of my best friends painted the CF hood on his Tiburon. The hood was made by him and his dad and the paint was done by them too so i can't help you on price. However you can see some pictures here http://www.cardomain.com/id/catchuptib Hope this helps a little.
