Incredibly stupid question:

Getting ready to replace the pads/rotors on the SVT. I'm not too fond of the rust on the center portion of the rotors, so I want to slap on a coat of high temp engine enamel to prevent rust. Is there any reason that I should not do this? I've had the issue with the wheel sticking to the rusty drum/rotor in the past, so I'm thinking this would be another decent way of preventing that as well.
