I'm going to be changing the cam belt out ASAP as well as putting on cam gears and an intake cam. What does everyone recommend changing? I've got about 97k on the motor. Here's the list so far:

Pair of cam seals (though the exhaust cam is staying in)
Crankshaft seal (?)
Valvecover gasket
Cam belt tensioner "assembly" (or is it multiple parts)
Water pump possibly

Cam/TDC tool set
Kent Cam Belt
ARP bolts to hold the cam gears on
Shims to go with the Esslinger cam

To me, the seals are optional, especially the crank front seal. If you damage the mating surface, you can develop a leak. I'd rather leave that alone untill it actually does leak being that it isnt very hard to access, unlike the rear seal.

the tensioner should be replaced. If you had an SPI, Id say water pump but the zetec has an accesory belt driven water pump. Its a good call to replace it but its up to you.

I would deff. replace the cam seals. But I agree with TXFO on the front seal. Also on the waterpump, thats optional, as you dont have to remove the timing belt to replace it. I may also reccomend replacing the timing belt idler while your at it.
