Looks good, whats with the speakers in the dash ???

 

The speakers are there because I compete in caraudio. Look att www.iasca.com to read more about car audio.

Had to put the speakers in the dash last year, to have a chance to win the final last year.
Which I also did, not only the Swedish Championship but also the European championship.

 

thats a rather interesting interior .. i dont suppose it came like that, that idea of the head unit is pretty unique!

That headunit placement is crazy!! I have never seen anything like it before! Everything about the car is phat! Did it come with those wheels? Its very nice!

I think the car is sweet!

I love the custom interior. That setup is the best I've seen in any car yet.

MJP: First off, welcome to the Jet! Now about that interior: very original, I've never seen anything like it.

Now, I don't understand a thing about dB-drag and ICE competitions but that is some custom made interior you got there. Now tell me, did you remove the passenger air-bag on your dash, I don't see it.

How did you install those speakers in the dashboard and how did you modify the A-pillar to install the tweeters?

Hi all again back from a short trip to UK and Scotland.

FocusPimp: No the car didnt come with those wheels. I bougth them same week as I got the car

The rims are called 100+ Elegance in Sweden, I think they are called Spyder Silver in England as High_Ram said.

swoosh7591: I will post some pics in ICE later where you can see some of the steps in building the dash board and A pillar.

FordEurope.net: I haven´t removed any airbag because when I ordered my car I said that I dont want any airbag on the passenger side so they didnt install any

I have a friend that works at the local Ford Dealer as a painter.

He has painted all the stuff on and in my my car including the head unit.

Here are some more pictures of painted details in the car.

The rims are 17"

The strip in door wasnt hard to get off, just take off the doorside and the use something hot to melt plastic plug that holds it. If you are careful when you take it off you can use the plug when you put back again otherwise you have the glue it on or use screw it on.

 

That is freakin' awesome. With the speakers in the dash are the signal paths more equal? Is that why you put them in the dash? Or does it just really move the soundstage up where it should be? Either way that is incredible. You are a genius and that has got to be the best interior i have ever seen. Put up some more pics when you get time. Thanks and keep up the good work in IASCA.
