Here are some updated pics of my truck. It's an 04 Chevy Silverado 2wd reg cab, short bed with a 5.3 V8.

So far my only performance mods is a dual magnaflow exhaust system, and a k&n filter. With these mods I ran a 15.37@88.38 in the 1/4 before I got the rims and tires. The rims are lighter than the stock 16's and the tires connect 100 times better than the stock General Americraps! I bet I'll be around 15 flat now that I have traction. according to my gtech I dropped .2 in my 0-60. But we'll see what the true gain is soon enough.

For looks I added a painted front bowtie, tinted windows, Piaa hyper whites, an extang tonneau cover, and most recently my 20" Centerline rims wrapped in Kumho Ecsta tires & a set of Cadillac Escalade handles.

Next up will be a painted front bumper and a diablosport predator programmer.

Thanks guys...

As for the rollpan I'd love to get one but I use this for my business. I'm constantly using my bumper as a step, plus it's equipped with the tow package so If I were to get a rollpan it would eliminate all of that. I'm going to end up getting the bumper painted blue to match the truck.

But your right a rollpan would look sweet!

what's the parish silverado?

Stock my truck has 295HP & 330lb/tq. According to magnaflow it added 15hp & 13 lbs/tq and the k&n probably added maybe 3hp & 3lbs/tq.

That means at the fly I'm running around 315hp & 343lbs/ tq

My goal is to shoot for 400 flywheel lbs/ tq and 350Hp. That should put my truck in the 13 second club

they make rollpans with a hidden hitch feature. the hitch mounts behind it and the license plate fold down to access it. but since you use the bumper as step also, a rollpan wont work.

Clean! Nice lookin' truck. Needs at least a slight drop. LOL. RLY.

What's the difference in overall tire diameter between what came stock and what's on there now? If you don't know, that's cool; just post the two different tire sizes. Like the painted bowtie; nice detail touch especially with such a large marque badge.

They are supposedly the exact same overall diameter as the tires were before. As for the drop that's the other thing I can't do. I haul upwards of 1500 lbs of wood sometimes. With a drop it would take away from my hauling capacity. So I'm kind of stuck with just doing body mods. The only suspension mod I can really do without effecting my hauling capacity is adding thicker sway bars which I plan on adding.

First things first though.....I need to get this beast in the 13's

so airbagit then.. you get some big beefy bags out back and you can still haul ****.

HAHAHAHAHA! Point taken!
Actually a lot of occassions the big duallies are running bags out back at least for towing because its a nicer/smoother ride to use full airbag adjustablity than just the helper air springs.

My g/f's dad has a dodge 3500 dually that has a full air ride suspension and that thing pulls that huge tri axle camper like nothing with the bag setup.. it helps keep it nice and level too. Plus how sweet is it to drive down the highway unhook the trailer and lay frame :p

Oh but it's not the pulling that worries me as much. It's the fact that I need to be able to put over 1000lbs in the bed of the truck.
well obviously if airbags can pick up a fifth wheel 3axle camper it can do 1000 lbs in the bed lol... plus you can always use semitruck triple bellow bags.
