I did a search but could not find anything, I removed the plastic triangular shaped air dam in front of my inlet tube. I am running a panel KnN so I'm not too worried about snow. I ground it off with a Rotozip then clipped a piece of aluminum to cover the hole so air is not diverted from the radiator. I'm not too concerned with appearance just functionality.
We'll see if there is any improvement. I think most of what I feel is due to the 40deg temps here in the morning.
At least it's free and I think the little stuff adds up.
