Ok, so I thought I'd totally go out on a limb here and ask to see my car with different wheels on it. I know, I know, nobody ever does that sort of thing, but I just need to see what I'm getting myself into here.

My car:

The wheels:

(Now where did I get these wheels... :D)

I'd like to see the wheels in a gunmetal grey, the silver they are now, maybe gunmetal with a thin body colored lip -but not the spokes, and a big body colored lip. Anything else that anyone thinks might look good would be cool. I'm not big on black wheels, but if black looks better with the colored lip, I'd consider it. Also feel free to tint the windows and paint the side trim. Thanks!

Majik, do you still have your car?! If so what wheels do you have now?

Ok, maybe "lip" is the wrong term for it, but what would it look like if everything that is not a spoke was painted red, and the spokes were dark grey or flat black? That's what I'm wondering. Also, anybody want to do the trim and windows?

two options...

if you keep the side molding the grey color it is, then do the red/grey combo. otherwise, i say get the molding painted to match the body color and do the black/red combo.

I wouldnt do the colored lips... Ive thought about it and it just wont look right. In the chops Half did, it makes it look like only the outer lip is red, but when that whole inside portion is matched its going to look funny. just IMO. Id go with all gunmetal or all silver.

It looks really cool, but it might be a little too Fast & Furious for my tastes. I dunno... I might be doing black Mach HIDs soon, with a body-colored ring instead of chrome, so I thought it might be cool if they matched. We'll see how it all comes together

^^That might be cool with the H.I.D.'s I'd like to see that done!

As for the wheel's, I'd say go with black/red trim. Also, paint the side/hatch molding(s), get some SVT mirrors (paint to match), and tint the window! I think that would be a good place to start IMO.

Good luck with everything.

Yeah, I just got a great deal on an SVT spoiler, so while I'm getting it painted, I'm looking to get a few other things done. I have my Mach HIDs open and ready for flat black with red rings, and I'll probably do the wheels in black with the red. I'm on a really tight budget right now, so whenever I find a good deal on something I have to snatch it up. I've been planning on painting the trim and tinting the windows for a while, but I keep putting it off... Soon enough, soon enough.
