Holy crap! That looks just like my car when I bought it! Actually it looks better, it barely has any frame damage, mine was worse. My mom needs a new car soon. Me and my dad are going to try and buy this one if it stays cheap and fix it up like I did mine.

This will be too cool if me and my mom end up having two white 2000 4dr focus sedans!

Thanks for the link!

(p.s. anyone here bids on that thing I will personally hunt you down and hurt you
)

would it really be worth it though?
after buying or fixing all the parts that need to be replaced plus the cost of the car, couldn't you find a used 2000 sedan for about the same cost?

from what i can see -

-windshield
-headlight(s)
-fenders, both sides
-hood
-front bumper
-airbag stuff
-passenger side door panel looks like it has a dent

even if the total cost to repair is less than one on a dealer lot, the time spent getting them done is going to add up too, so i don't think it'd really be worth it. (but that's just the way i feel about it) i guess if you like doing that kind of stuff, then this would be the car for you.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Yeah but instesd of getting ford stuff, you can go right to the aftermarket stuff.
-st170 headlights
-z3 fenders
-carbon fiber or fiberglass hood
-your choice of bumpers
except for windshield and airbag stuff, so its kind of a good reason to put aftermarket stuff on.

My dad used to do this on the side for a living and I did this exact thing to my car already, these are the prices as best as I can remember.

-windshield $200 installed
-headlight(s) no cost(I have an extra pair of euro's)
-fenders, both sides $55 each
-hood $100 or give her mine and buy a fiberglass one for me!
-front bumper $100
-airbag stuff no cost(I have these as well)
-passenger side door panel $75 from a junkyard
-dashoard $100 junkyard
-radiator $110
-condensor $75-100
-euro grills and lock $160 or less + shipping
-radiator support (maybe not needed)$75
-front bumper reinforcement $75
-misc ac/radiator hoses and other assorted clips and parts $100- 200
total for parts= roughly $1405

paint materials= ~350

driving to boston to pick it up?
Just the gas, I dunno how much.

Labor taken care of by me a little at a time on the weekends, a labor of love
. If the chassis isn't bent it's not a hard fix, escpecially since I've now done it before on the same exact car. So the total comes to $2555 for the car and the parts depending how the bidding goes for a low mileage 2000 vehicle. I paid $1800 alone for my car wrecked more than a year ago.

03'zx3 is right about the aftermarket stuff. that's exactly what I had in mind when I started doing it. I didn't get everything aftermarket but most of it is.
Still working on my resto actually.
