It all started after I had the SVT springs installed a while back. Whenever the car goes over a bump, I hear a pop/crackle noise in the right rear. It only happens when the rear(Body)is in the upward motion. Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks for any help, Mike

The noise you are probably hearing is the small plastic body that covers the piston rod for the rear shocks...it has small tabs that were to interlock it to the upper shock mount area, if these tabs were broken,......it gets to fall down when the shock is in extended positions. Take off hte upper nut and pull the rubber mount off.....if you dont see 4 small tabs...chances are they broke and thats the noise u are hearing. Mine has been this way for about 20.000 miles, it doesnt get any better
...i need to hit the salvage yard and grab a couple.
