Since when is there a "next gen" of Taurus? Everything that I have seen points to the death of the ol bull. Being replaced by the 500 and the Futura.
That mini ute is not a bad looking little critter.

The truck has the 2002+ Explorer headlights, and the second one has something like a Contour hood. The last one looks kinda cool, if that is the EcoSport or whatever it is. I'll be anxious to see whats offered with it, etc.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">There isn't a next gen Taurus. That shot is old, at the time, they thought there was a next gen Taurus. Is is most likely a 500 mule.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">different? yeah about as different as the Escape, Tribute and the upcoming Mariner are from each other. Or the Euro Focus from the NA Focus. I think that the main "difference" is that the version for the Americas is cheapened extensively from the original Fusion. It has tail lights at the bottom and different headlights. They are certainly not different in the sense that the Ford Escort from Europe and the US were actually completely different from each other.

But from what I have read here, it seems that we won't get it at all. What they should do is have the Eco-Sport as a Ford and the Fusion (Euro design) as a Mercury (with an "M" name of course)...

Yes, they are the same platform and everything, but they don't look the same.
