I don't think this is happening to everyone, but it's fairly common. I had to bring mine in three times before it finally got fixed. I think there's finally a TSB about it.

They had to reseal the bottom of the windshield. Take it into your dealer it will be covered under warranty. Your car is going to smell like silicone for a few days

 

where do you get the water, passenger side, driver's.....?

 

The wiper cowling can also warp, making the problem even worse.

After the first fix, mine has never done it again.

Based on what I know about company economics, I don't feel it necessary to force Ford to do a recall.

 

My '02 ZTS has a trunk leak where water gets inside the trunk lid itself. I can hear it sloshing around and sometimes water comes out when I open the trunk. I haven't called the dealership yet about it.

 

A lot of people are having problems with the pollen filter cover not sealing up against the bottom of the window properly when it has been removed. This causes the water to get under the pollen filter A type of sealer should available from your Ford dealer.

That's the same as everyone else just take it to the dealer. Now that a lot of people have had it done they'll know what to do right away.

well my brand new 2002 zx3 also has a water leak on the passenger side the car only has 350 miles ,i dont even have plates yet ,i hope this isnt a sign of things to come ,problem child car ,

 

My 2000 SE wagon had the same problem. 5 attempts to repair and 40 days in shop and 6 months of fighting with the dealer

and Ford bought it back.
My windshield cracked and it was replaced by the dealer under warrenty. It was never the same afterwards. I now have a 01 SE wagon--NO LEAKS(knock on wood)

 

I'm dealing with the same thing, and trying to figure out how to drain it.. my seats are wet and moldy, and carpet..

 

Do you have a sun-roof?
