I am having problems with my power door locks. I replaced the blown fuse on the back of the fuse block only to have the fuse blow again. What should I look for next, bad switches or a shorted lock motor? Any advice would be appreciated.

a short of any kind is what you should look for. possibly in the switches. thats where i would start. or where the wires go through the door. lots of rubbing can happen in there

Thanks for the reply. That is what I was thinking. I was just kind of hoping there was a "known" part that tends to wear out that I could start with. I just hate troubleshooting electrical...

Take a short cut.

Unscrew the harness plug from the body (between the door and the A-pillar) and see what happens - do one side at a time. If it shorts out again then the problem is between the the plug and the fuse-board.

There is one fuse back there. If You didn't find it, You will need to look again, because there is a fuse there.
