Well today a friend and I were installing a new suspension on my car and everything went fine on the front. Got to the back and we hit a huge problem. When we tried to remove the bolt from the control arm it pulled the bushing out and is now seized up. The bushing is now shredded and we had to cut the spot welded nut off so that we could thread a new nut on to it without it being cross threaded. We could even push the bolt out with a c-clamp. Now the nut isn't tightend all the way down cuz it won't tighten any more, and if the bolt would loosen up there would be 1/4" of play. So is this gonna be a problem driving on it till i replace the control arm and fix it?? And does any body have any input on how to get the bolt out??
