As a new Focus owner I have been reading through previous discussion about the Euro/glass OEM replacement fog lights from ProCarParts.com. I was all set to order a set but I thought I'd just make sure I was getting what I wanted.

This is the e-mail I sent to ProCarParts yesterday and their reply:

Subject: Ford Focus replacement Fog Light question

My question is about your "Ford Focus OEM style replacement fog lights"

(SKU: FOG-FOCUS)

I am curious what type of bulb it uses and the type of lens:

Is it the U.S. OEM part using a plastic lens and 893 bulb?
Or
is it the European OEM part that uses a glass lens and an H-1 bulb?
Or
Am I wrong and they are completely different from those two?

In any case, please let me know which bulb they use and the material of the lens.

The light uses the US spec bulbs. It is made of plastic

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Now, obviously I believe that everyone who has the glass versions truly do, but has procarparts recently changed what they carry, or do the technical staff at just not know what they are talking about.

Thanks everyone for the replies.

I figured that their tech's just had it wrong in the database, I just had to check with the real experts first. I will be ordering those tonight, I've already got a set of wiring harnesses for them.
