I got my new progress sway bar today. So I put it on, but while I was putting it on I came to this part in the directions that said... hand tighten the endlinks and then one full turn. Thats it. I hand tightened it, but it was one of those nut with the plastic lock built in it so you can only turn it like twice then it gets hard.(no dirty thoughts) Then gave it the one full turn. I look at the endlinks and they still had about 1/2 inch travel(really loose). THe instructions say dont over tighten. So I tighten them until each rubber thing on both sides was flush with the endlink bracket. Anyway... Pulled outta Wendy's(sideways) and heard a loud metal pop sound. Does that mean too tight?

The (nylock) nuts should be torqued to 11 ft/lbs--as per Ford. My understanding is that it is pretty important to not have things too tight on the endlink bushings as it can fatigue the LCA.
