what is the proper sir pressure for 215/35/18's? it says max 45 lbs....thanx for the help guys

You have to allow for some pressure to be 'added' as you drive and your tires heat up. I've heard up to 8psi can come into play this way. When you go to add the air, just park it and wait a while, I usually wait 3 or 4 minutes before adding air. It helps if you choose an air station close to your house obviously.

I'd say to experiment with between 33psi and 35psi cold, and see what you like the best. I run 34psi myself and like it a lot.

I've run mine at 35psi for the past 3 years.

I know the 205/50R16s run 34 psi.

The 195/60R15s run 32 psi.

I'm not sure what the 17s run at, but I'd just stay with the 32 to 35 range. Do not go with the MAXIMUM pressure listed on your sidewall! At that point, as air pressure builds from the heat due to rolling, you're running the risk of a blowout and a new tire
