Question about Cylinder Head Temp...........

The other day i swapped the head on my car with a ported and polished, stock compression head. I plugged my OBD II scanner in yesterday, and saw that my cylinder head temp was around 210-215 at idle. It also would go up to around 235-240 and the fan would go on. My question is.....is this normal? Has anyone checked their CHT with and OBD II lately?
