question about the 2.0

How many miles?? ...Have the O2 sensors ever been changed?? ...Check the plugs...Maybe a bad cat...
...You dont give much info to go on...So, its kinda hard to pinpoint a cause...

Just about 24 K miles. I had the OT sensor replaced 3 times, I have has the FS cool flow for about 3 years, same for the 8mms.

the odd thing tha happened before, I was driving and I let go of the gas then pressed it again and the car went in to Nutral by itself, the car reved up to 6 then back to normal.

I have an Auto Tranny..

That tranny thing definately would qualify as 'strange' in my book...But, I think you just ruled out the mods you mentioned as the problem...Unfortunately, thats about all the help I can be in this instance...
...Maybe your battery is going...That could, in theory, cause the tranny thing since its electronically-controlled...Maybe have your charging/electrical system checked?? ...Im stretchin here, though...But, some places (like Autozone, I think) will do it free, so you arent really out much...Maybe its worth a shot??
