I've checked all the major threads, and read the blurbs on their resellers websites, but I can't figure out what this pipe is made of. Surely at this price it's not aluminum. Is it ceramic-coated stainless? It doesn't really matter, since I've already got one and it's going on tomorrow, I'm just curious.

Is it confirmed ceramic coated? It only looks spray painted to me? Just wondering.

That's how the ceramic coating is applied, then it's baked in a high-temp oven.

Kinda like t3h p0wd3rc04t1n9...

Weird. The ceramic coating on my FS exhaust was a totally different texture/feel/look to it than Gringo's CosFlex. Anyway, thanks for the answer.

Yep. Felt like dirt. The FS coating, and come to think of it MM's as well, was extremely smooth and polished.

Since YOU mention it, "Stroking the flexpipe" would look pretty funny under someone's name.

Mine was a little rough, and there was some loose powder inside of it as well. Looked like a nice piece though. I wouldn't worry about it.

Ok dad

The only thing I don't like about the Cosworth flex is the lack of hardware to install it. The exhaust came fully equipped with gaskets and bolts, but the flex came with nothing. Had to make a trip to the hardware store for bolts.
