I want to get new rims and tires but my main goal is to get more grip and go faster on turns. I guess and want all performance. Is like 17s better than 16s or does size matter. Any suggestions on what rims to get.

Wreckless driving is just about as bad as Street Racing. Please consider looking into going to events hosted by your local autocross clubs. I'm going to leave this thread for now, but be aware that it's borderline.

True. But while every rags on autocross how you have to spend an entire day for a small amount of track time, it usually only costs 15-20 dollars. Besides, you get pleanty of time to watch some good driving, and see some nice cars.
