Well Lately when I get on the gas, my gas pedal vibrates like a motha from 5000 rpm up. This is definitely a new occurance. So i pop the hood and take a look. Throttle body looks good. spring is nice and tight. Then i gran the cable itself and give it a little shake.....and there is a little tapping going on like the threads have come lose or one has snapped.

Anyone have this happen to them? And how long does it take to feed a new throttle cable from the gas pedal to the throttle body. I only imagine it being a PIA to get it through the firewall.

Oh, and there is a throttle cable on ebay, is the SVT cable the same as any other zetec or is it shorter due to its position being closer to the driver?

Thanks Steve, I might need one, I am gonna check it out some more....the steel threads look good at the pedal and at the throttle body, something must have snapped inside the insulation.
