I've got the car up on ramps and and have removed the heat shield from the cat on my 02SVTF. I have a O2 socket but there is not enough clearance in there to get a ratchet on the socket.

Does Cat need to be removed?- any tips or tricks? Tried search but couldn't find anything.

I will try the crows foot socket. If that doesn't provide me enough clearance then I will drop the cat.

My 'o2' socket is the length of a standard deep socket and just barely fits on the sensor before the top touches the passenger side drive shaft- I would assume this means the header is bent.

Also I just returned my bosch o2 sensor to O'reily's as many posts indicated to only go with FORD OEM stuff if you want it to last.
