I recently replaced mine, and it took 10 minutes. If you can't gain access using an o2 socket, your header is probably bent. You may need to remove the cat to get proper clearance. Unbolting the front, and removing the rear bracket (if it's still intact) will let you drop it down enough to get access when the header is bent.
