My car has 55k miles on it. I have Kent cam gears, and they are spitting what looks like rubber looking residue up on the inside of the hood. I'm thinking it may be the timing belt ending itself.

I have the Ford CD and it looks pretty straight forward. Has anyone run into any issues changing their timing belt?

I will also slap on an UDP since I'm already taking off the stock unit. Does anyone have a serpentine belt diagram handy? My car never had a manual and it doesn't have it printed under the hood (which I find HIGHLY unusual).

other than getting enough slack to get the belt over/under the pullies, it's pretty easy.

That's a pic of the accessory drive belt, not the timing belt...
